masoor dal[red colour dal]-cookery

masoor dal - 1small cup
onion - 1[cut into small ]
green chilli - 2-3 as you wish
garlic - 5-6
turmaric powder - 1/2 tsp
coconut milk - thick milk i cup
for seasoning
fenal seeds - 1tsp
red dry chilli - 1 chopped
small onion - 3-4 cut into thin round slice
curry leaf

lemon - 1/2 [optional]

wash dal well and add enough water. add onion, green chilli, turmaric and salt.
cook well till the dal gets cooked[ add enough water whenever needed].
now add coconut milk.
keep for one boil and bring it down.
now in another pan add oil.
add fenal seeds, onion fry till golden brown then add red dry chilli and curry leaf.

add this to the curry.

if u need add 1/2 lemon juice to it after every thing is completed,[ add juice, after you switch off the stove].
